Amy Greenawalt and her husband Mark have lived in Seymour for 18 years. They have 4 children, ages 5-13. Amy loves music, especially singing and playing the piano. She loves to travel, go sailing and snorkeling. She enjoys reading, good coffee, talking with friends, working out, planting flowers, and teaching children God’s truth and the beauty of music. She teaches preschool classes at BSF in Columbus, and at First Baptist Church. She has a Bachelor of Music degree in Piano Pedagogy, runs a piano studio from her home, and directs her church’s handbell choirs.
Amy will be sharing her story of how God used His Word to teach her the truth of who she is in Christ. She will also be sharing the importance of teaching our kids the truth of Scripture. She has some fun and practical ideas for how parents can help their children memorize God’s Word, pray specifically for them, and encourage positive character qualities in their lives.
